Happy Thursday morning, everyone!

We’re waking up to slick conditions down south between Bend and La Pine, so do be mindful if you are traveling this morning as icy roads still exist. We’re also seeing some areas of low visibility with fog across parts of the tri-county area. Temperatures are well below freezing for many of us as we’re starting in the teens & 20s. Overall today we can expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies after the fog burns off. Winds won’t be as strong for today with gusts topping around 10 miles per hour. High temperatures will remain chilly with many of us staying in the 40s.

If you are heading over the mountain passes, know it is winter down to pass level, so roads are icy and/or snow covered. We’re also seeing the same conditions from Lava Butte down south to Sunriver & La Pine. Northern Klamath county is also snowy.

Overnight expect mostly clear skies turning foggy by tomorrow morning. Many of us will wake up to areas of low visibility and cold temperatures starting in the teens & 20s. Once the fog burns off we’ll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for our Friday. Highs will be some of the coolest of the week with many in the upper 30s & low to mid 40s. Winds will be breezy at times on Friday gusting around 20 miles per hour.

This weekend we will see some frosty mornings followed by sunny afternoons. Highs will be in the 40s for Saturday and we’ll see a bit of a warmup on Sunday with temps in the 50s. We’re not expecting any lingering showers this weekend.

Looking ahead to Halloween, we’re seeing mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with daytime highs in the 50s & lower 60s with no rain! Woo!
