BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Santa is making his trip around the globe early this year, and stopping in at the Old Mill District in Bend. He had to change out his sleigh and Rudolph’s bright red nose for an Airlink helicopter. He came to visit families to spread some holiday cheer.
This year, children lined up for the Santa Parade and got to see him in Santaland.
Old Mill District’s Marketing Director Beau Eastes said, “We’re ecstatic to see Santa and host events like this again. The community is excited that we can start doing things together again. We’ve been partnering with Santa for years and he’s been flying in with the help of Airlink.”
“This is easily one of the biggest crowds we’ve had for Santa,” he added.
Kelsey McGee is asking children what they liked most about seeing Santa, and asking people about their Black Friday finds. Her report will be on NewsChannel 21 First at Five.
