Hayden Homes Amphitheater announced it is accepting applications from food vendors for the 2024 summer concert season.

Applications will be taken through Feb. 12 at 5:00 p.m. Applications are available at the BendConcerts.com website.

The amphitheater says food carts are contracted to operate at every concert and vendors should plan for up to 8,000 concert-goers per event.

Most carts stay in the amphitheater for the duration of the summer. Hours are typically from 4:00-10:15 p.m. on concert days, with some shows starting earlier.

All vendors must use compostable dishes, cutlery and napkins. No single-use plastics are allowed.

Here is more from Hayden Homes Amphitheater:

The Hayden Homes Amphitheater hosted 50 concerts in 2023, including sold out shows by Chris Stapleton, James Taylor, Weezer, Jelly Roll, The Lumineers, and more. The 2024 concert season, which is expected to start in mid-May and run through September, already has seven announced shows, including concerts by Tyler Childers, Hozier, Mt. Joy, and Jordan Davis.

“We are so proud to be able to showcase Central Oregon’s vibrant food truck culture each year at the amphitheater,” Phil Phifer, the venue’s Food & Beverage Manager said. “Featuring local food vendors is one of the many things that makes Hayden Homes Amphitheater such a unique and wonderful live music venue. We know the community really enjoys having all those great local food options at the shows.”

Vendors will have access to potable water, serviced grey water tanks, and on-site waste disposal including recycling, composting, and repurposing.

“We hope to team up with great chefs and creative minds who love food as much as we do,” said Jessie St George, the amphitheater’s Executive Chef and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. “Each vendor we choose adds a unique flavor to the mix, making for a memorable food vendor lineup. We can’t wait to show off the amazing talent and diverse eats that make up Central Oregon.”
