DCSO: Redmond man arrested after $100,000 in marijuana found

A Redmond man is facing a marijuana charge after a search warrant revealed $100,000 in processed marijuana plus cash and weapons.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said its Illegal Marijuana Market Team served a search warrant in the 7000 block of SW 77th Street Tuesday morning. Inside they allegedly found 152 pounds of processed marijuana estimated to have a street value of $100,000, an AR-15, two handguns and almost $10,000 in cash.

The sheriff’s office said the marijuana seized was pre-packaged and destined for the black market.

Christopher George Putnam is charged in Deschutes County with unlawful marijuana possession, specifically possessing more than 128 ounces of “usable” marijuana.
