DCSO: Bend homicide suspect Caleb Cegers and brother arrested in Tennessee

DCSO: Brother of alleged shooter added as suspect, wanted by police

UPDATE: 

Deschutes County Sheriffs say Caleb Joseph Cegers was arrested without incident Friday evening around 11:30 PM EST in Cleveland, Tennessee.

His Brother Dahnte Nathaniel Cegers was contacted at a residence in Cleveland, Tennessee earlier in the evening and was taken into custody.

Police say Caleb Joseph Cegers, 20, is the primary suspect in the downtown Bend homicide investigation that killed Taylor Wyss of Redmond last week.  

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend their appreciation to the United States Marshall Service and the Cleveland (Tennessee) City Police Department for their assistance.

Deschutes County Sheriffs have added Dahnte Cegers as a suspect in the shooting last week that killed 33-year-old Taylor Wyss of Redmond.

The suspected shooter, Caleb Cegers is still on the run. His brother Dahnte is now suspected of protecting Caleb.

Nationwide felony arrest warrants are issued for both men.
