Central Oregon Community College held its first-ever State of the College address Wednesday.
COCC President Laurie Chesley hosted students, faculty and community members to hear the college’s current priorities, goals and initiatives.
One topic she was excited to discuss was the Madras campus expansion.
“It will be the second building in Madras and it will house all of our health programs, nursing medical assistant and certified nursing assistant,” Chesley said.
The new Madras building will also house a childcare facility and early education courses.
