After the meeting, Bend City Council will host a work session for the project on Wednesday, May 18 at 5 p.m. and another public hearing on Wednesday, June 1 at 7 p.m.
The project is in response to the Oregon Legislature’s passage of HB 3318 in 2021.
The plan will lay the foundation for the creation of a new neighborhood on the 261 acres in Bend, as well as the expansion of the Bend Urban Growth Boundary (UBG).
The tract is focused on the eastern portion of a 640-acre property east of 27th St. and the Stevens Ranch Master Plan property.
