The High Desert Museum says it will be announcing the arrival of a “new mammal resident” on Friday.
But to whet your appetite, they are dropping clues on Facebook and allowing people to guess what the new creature may be.
The first clue was released Tuesday. It showed a close up of an eye of some furry creature. It says the creature is native to the High Desert.

Guesses included bobcat, wolf, rabbit, lynx, cougar, fox and badger.
