
Bend Police are looking for a man who allegedly pistol-whipped one person and sprayed bear spray at another over the weekend.
Police are looking for 35-year-old Kenneth James Sommerset of Bend. The incidents are alleged to have happened in the Hunnell Road area.
Bend PD says that just before 8:00 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of a man stumbling southbound on Highway 97 with blood all over his face. The victim told officers that a man had pistol-whipped him on Hunnell Road.

The victim said a man approached him and hit him with what may have been a CO2 gun before pointing the gun at him, police said. The alleged attacker emptied the victim’s pockets, taking his wallet and cigarettes.
The victim was taken to St. Charles Hospital.
Police say Sommerset is also suspected of spraying bear spray into the face of another person during an argument Sunday night.
Sommerset is facing potential charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree theft and second-degree aggravated assault.
