Prineville Police say someone apparently tried to steal a bank ATM by pulling it out with a stolen pickup truck and tow rope.
Police say it happened around 4:00 a.m. Monday at the Washington Federal on NE 3rd Street.
Surveillance video showed that two men were unsuccessful in removing the ATM before they ran away on foot, police said.

Officers arrived to find the abandoned pickup and tow ropes still there. The truck had been stolen an hour earlier from Redmond, police said.
Drones and a K9 from the Redmond Police Department were used to try finding the culprits, but nobody was found.
