Habitat for Humanity of La Pine-Sunriver received a big boost with a $25,000 donation from Interstate Bank Thursday. It’s part of the bank’s “Believe in Local” campaign to invest in nonprofits.
“Very important to us to show up alongside our community members to help ensure that they thrive.” said Amberly Pahut of the First Interstate Bank System Foundation. “And an organization like Habitat for Humanity is a perfect example of that in the way that they create homes and sustenance and life changing opportunities for the families they serve.”
The funds go to supporting Habitat for Humanity’s efforts in southern Deschutes County.
