The Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond is hosting Endurocross Saturday.
This event is a lot like motocross racing, but potentially dangerous obstacles like rocks and logs are added to the course.
“This weekend a completely different track layout from last year,” said champion Endurocross racer Cody Webb. “Really good lava rock, you know, native to the region around here. Bunch of logs. I mean it’s gonna be really cool racing and they’ve already sold quite a bit of tickets, more than they did last year. So, coming back the second year it’s going to be that much better.”
All the materials are also sourced from the area where the race is happening.
The doors open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are available here. They are $19 general admission and $30-$40 for reserved. They go up $5 on Saturday.
