Central Oregon firefighters head to California

Central Oregon firefighters have been called upon to help fight the wildfires in California. Some 50 engines statewide headed south to work on the brushfires and protect structures from the fires that have killed 23 people and burned over 170 thousand acres. Crews from Bend, Sunriver, and Sisters-Camp Sherman joined with others from Klamath County. They will be there for at least a week.
