Missing Motorcyclist’s Body Found

The body of a missing Medford motorcyclist was found in Lane County over the weekend.  Police say 60-year-old James Lutter left Portland last Tuesday making his way home to Phonenix, Oregon.  Lutter’s body was found in a ditch pinned under his motorcycle several feet off a remote Forest Service road.


R.L. has won numerous local, state, and national awards for his news coverage and community involvement. He is in the Oregon Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame as a 2004 Heritage Broadcaster of the Year. Over his 38-year career he has been a mainstay in the Central Oregon media.
